To showcase Tig Notaro’s childhood in Mississippi, we mixed footage of modern Mississippi provided by production, and some personal Super 8mm footage. The Super 8mm footage is actually from Gareth’s family—that’s his mom, brother, aunt, uncle, and grandfather in the title sequence.
